OUR MAJOR WORK

The Saint Gianna and Pietro Molla International Center for Family and Life

Under the Patronage of the Three Hearts: the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Purest Heart of Joseph
TO BE ESTABLISHED IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
The Saint Gianna and Pietro Molla International Center for Family and Life, under the patronage of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Purest Heart of Joseph, is the major work of the Saint Gianna Beretta Molla and Pietro Molla Foundation, more briefly referred to as “Saint Gianna and Pietro Molla Foundation”. For God’s will, the Center will be established in the United States of America, instead of in Italy, in a location to be determined. The Architect of the holy project is Duncan G. Stroik.

“The International Center will promote the sanctity of life witnessed, as is completely appropriate, in the married life of Saint Gianna. Her holiness had everything to do with the sanctity of her husband. They were both, as every married couple should be, dedicated to work for the salvation of the spouse’s soul. This was so evident in the life of Saint Gianna and Pietro. So this Center will be named after both of them. In years to come, I think we will be reading more and more about Pietro and coming to understand the great beauty of the married vocation as it is exemplified by the life of this beautiful couple”, His Eminence, Cardinal Raymond Leo Burke, stated.

“The rationale of the Saint Gianna and Pietro Molla International Center for Family and Life”, His Eminence added, “has been carefully articulated and responds thoroughly and profoundly to the great need of a new evangelization regarding the inviolability of innocent and defenseless human life, and the integrity of marriage and the family as the cradle of human life. Saint Gianna and her saintly husband, Pietro, are contemporary heroes of the much-needed new evangelization.”
We are deeply grateful to all the Benefactors of “The Saint Gianna and Pietro Molla International Center for Family and Life”
and assure them of our prayers. May Our Lord reward them and bless them abundantly, and keep them always!

“Jesus, You who have called among your Angels and your Saints, my Spouse and the Mother of my children, grant that even today my children may grow up in wisdom and grace with You, with Our Lady, with their Holy Mother, with their loved ones and with men, just as You grew up in Your Holy Family in Nazareth, and just as their Holy Mother knew how to bring them up, day by day. Keep them in health of mind and body, just as their Holy Mother, with Your grace and Your blessing, knew how to preserve them with her wise, very loving care.
Grant that my children may always be worthy, every day of their lives, of the Holiness and Martyrdom of their Holy Mother.
Grant that I may be the least unworthy as possible of the Holiness of my Spouse, and that I may replace her, by Your grace, in the lovingness and guidance of our children.
Grant also to me and my children the grace, the certainty, and the ineffable comfort that made Saint Augustine write of his Holy Mother in Heaven: ‘When you were alive, I saw you where you were. Now that you are in Heaven, I feel you present wherever I am.’
And you, Gianna, help me day by day, to carry my Cross, to accomplish, in a heroic way, the will of the Lord.
May you obtain also for our children and for me the divine grace to make us saints.
Grant that every day may bring us nearer to you, and that every day we may climb a rung of Jacob's mystical ladder, at the top of which you are awaiting us.
And grant that when the Lord will call us to Himself, He may find us worthy to come near, near, near to you forever. Amen.” (1)
